No new reviews yet – I did recently get hit with a nasty brokerage fee from UPS though! I was super disappointed because I hadn’t gotten that yet from any of my EdenFantasys orders. I totally expect things like customs/duties, seeing as how I live in Canada and I order from the USA, but I hadn’t received UPS brokerage fees before yet. Plus it was just over $20 on a $60 package. Erm, no thank you! But I paid it, because there was something in there that I got for Valentine’s (such a sucker for the holidays). EdenFantasys was super awesome though – I sent their customer service an email about it (wondering if it’s a new thing or if I should expect to get hit with brokerage fees for everything from now on) and they sent me an email back asking for the total of the brokerage fees and they’re going to be sending me a cheque to reimburse me! I thought that was really nice of them, seeing as they didn’t have to do it (and I wasn’t expecting it either!). But it is nice to know that there’s a company out there that really goes above and beyond for their customers – definitely my favourite store, by far, for sex toys. I may, in the future, for smaller items go for a Canadian seller though (just to avoid absurdly high brokerage fees on minor items), but EdenFantasys still has some of the best prices for higher-end toys that I’m really getting into nowadays.

So it’s been a while since I blogged (again). One of the classes that I’m taking in school this upcoming term is Human Sexuality. I’m quite looking forward to it, it should be really interesting. I still need to get the textbook, but the website for it has been up and running so I’ve been reading through some of the things I’ll need to do throughout the term. There’s a group blog, online debates, online tests and an online final. I think it should be pretty interesting!

From what I can tell, there’s three units. The first unit is pretty ‘biology’ based (reproductive maturity, reproductive organs). There’s also a chapter that’s going to be all on STIs. There’s sections on paraphilias and then there’s a section on “commercial sex” which (according to the description) includes information on pornography, prostitution and ‘gadgets’ for intimate relations… I bet I can guess what those are! So I’m looking for to that, hopefully I can share some things with all of you as I go through the class!

So clearly I’d fallen behind on blogging, because I really am that forgetful/busy/whathaveyou. Plugging away at school, I’ve been working on some reviews for loveshocks.com, I just haven’t gotten around to taking photos of the actual products – but I do have the write-ups done.

One thing that’s happened since August is that I got a few more little pieces of lingerie (mostly panties/thongs, several pairs of fishnets). Oh! And one of my vibrators that I was going to review (the Rocks Off Limited’s RO-120mm Bullet) actually died on me. I don’t know what happened, I always make sure that the seal is on tight before washing it and I don’t ever store batteries in with my toys. I just pulled it out one day and put a fresh battery in and it just refused to do anything. Really disappointed by that, but I’m still going to put up a review about the the toy itself (and also mention the death of it as well). I kind of want to get another RO-120mm Bullet to replace it, but I’m kind of reluctant to do so. They’re not terribly expensive ($32+shipping) but at the same time, I don’t want to put money into another one if it’s just going to die on me again after a month or so without any use. Luckily my other toys haven’t died on me (thank goodness) as I do need a source of stress relief during finals.

I’ll be working on reviews during my winter break and hopefully get a few of them up (with photos).

I’ve clearly been neglecting this blog unfortunately. Between April and now I finished up finals for the school year and I went on a mad hunt for a full-time summer position and I’ve been busy with that. I do a lot of overtime to work on work-related projects and just haven’t had a lot of time to review any of the sex toys that I’ve had lying around my room for the last… almost a year now. It’s quite sad, because I wish I had more time to play!

But my next review is going to be for the Fairy Pocket Mini and I’m really going to get it up this week! I’m also going to be writing p some more stuff for the site over the next few weeks as I really want to keep this website going and active (starting… now!).

In the mean time, does anyone have any good suggestions of sex toy review blogs to follow? It’d be greatly appreciated as I love following new-to-me blogs!

Ahh, long time no post. The school term has been very busy for me lately so I haven’t really gotten time to test out new toys that I’ve gotten so far this year. For those that shop at Eden Fantasys, there was a Spring Contributor Appreciation Coupon (one time use, 30% off all regular-price items that you buy in one go). I really like the fact that Eden Fantasys does offer out these coupons for people who contribute to the website – it makes it a lot more affordable and easier for me buy things for myself (and for use with my boyfriend, of course).

I did place an order a few days ago and I will be receiving a few fun toys probably next week and I’ll do a post about the package when I get it.

There are a lot of reviews that I want to get done – mostly reviews on vibrators and lingerie sets.

I hope everyone’s been doing well – I’m almost done my finals and I plan to work on reviews after those are done :)
